Henryk Ostoja Sciborowski (b. ? - d. Oct. 11, 1946) - longtime department head in the Tax Office. Husband of Janina née Królik sister of Lucyna Czermakowa. Painter - amateur, mainly a copyist, but also painted his own compositions (still life - mainly floral compositions). He was friends with, among others, Julian Fałat, who was a frequent visitor to their home (they lived at 8 Jabłonowskich Street) and who highly valued his painting technique. He also knew Jacek Malczewski and most likely commissioned Tadeusz Starzewski to make the copies of the paintings presented below (biography courtesy of the family).
