Masculine Crops is a series of works inwhichBachorczyk looks at and dissects the subject of masculinity. He takes under the knife - literally, but also metaphorically - the image of a man and piece by piece constructs his contemporary image, inwhichstrength and vulnerability, seriousness and humor meet. The artist plays with conventions by juxtaposing historical themes with contemporary issues, including the subject of gender.
