"The last farewell was attended, among others, by the President of the Republic of Poland Ignacy Moscicki, Prime Minister Aleksander Prystor and members of the government, Speakers of the Sejm and Senate, as well as parliamentarians, governors, military delegations from all over the country, representatives of other authorities and institutions. The funeral Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Romuald Yalbrzykowski, Metropolitan of Vilnius, with the participation of Bishops Henryk Przeździecki, Stanisław Kostka Łukomski, Kazimierz Mikołaj Michalkiewicz, and the sermon was delivered by Rev.
