Pair of "half-toe" dance shoes, in black fabric, with original dedication and autograph written in white indelible marker by Kader Belarbi. Used in the "Prelude à l'après Midi d'un Faune". Ballet dancer from about 1980 to 2008, named ETOILE by Rudolf Nureev in 1989. "Danseur étoile" (for men) or danseuse étoile (for women), literally "star dancer", is the highest grade that a dancer can reach the Paris Opera Ballet.
