A group of more than forty documents left behind by Jan Zalewski, a teacher at the State Economic and Commercial School in Lviv. The documents date from the period of the Second Republic. They relate to his teaching work. Others come from the World War II period. Jan Zalewski's personal documents (identity cards and military booklets) from this period bear witness to the Russian and German occupiers' stay in Lviv. After the war Jan Zalewski returned to Poland, where he took up teaching in Yaroslavl.
