The Fish Exhibition in Lviv took place from October 12-22, 1912, and was one of the first (earlier Warsaw 1900) of this type of exhibition of such a large size in Poland. The exhibition was held in the Art Pavilion (PWK buildings) and its purpose was: "a collation of our forces in the field of fishing, an account of what has been done so far and what should be done next" and to popularize domestic production.

Extensive coverage of the exhibition appeared, among other things, in the journal "Okólnik Rybacki" (Nos. 9 and 10, 1912).The exhibition was also covered by "News Illustrated" at the time:

"Fishing Exhibition in Lviv. Of all areas of rural farming in perhaps the greatest neglect in our country is the fish farm. This is why appointed factors are making efforts in this direction, in order to increase the profitability of our farms by organizing a rational fish farming. Among these efforts an important place will undoubtedly be taken by the fishing exhibition opened these days in Lviv, in the Palace of Arts on the post-exhibition square, organized by the Economic Society. The exhibition was opened with great solemnity in front of a large number of representatives of authorities, institutions and landed gentry. Among the guests were: Marshal count Goluchowski, president Neuman, deputy governor councillor Szeligowski, university rector Dr. Beck with a group of professors, representatives of the Polytechnic, rector of the Academy of Veterinary Medicine Dr. Królikowski with a group of professors, representatives of agricultural institutions, deputies and so on. After a speech by the president of the exhibition, Adolf count Brunicki, who presented the purpose for which the exhibition was organized, the president of Lviv, Neuman, spoke, expressing his joy that the first great fishing exhibition was organized in Lviv, and then Mr. Lisowiecki spoke on behalf of the economic society.
