[SZYMBORSKA Wisława]. Handwritten "pastedown" of Wislawa Szymborska with correspondence addressed from Cracow to Danuta Herbert-Ulam in Paris at the turn of 2008/2009.
Sheet of stiff paper form. 10.5x14.8 cm. On one side pasted picture cut out from a magazine of Johnny Belushi in a characteristic jump known from the film "Blues Brothers" and the signature "Sky over Paris". Szymborska regrets not meeting the addressee and asks about her health. Preserved original envelope hand-addressed by Szymborska. The addressee of the correspondence is Danuta Herbert-Ulam, wife of prominent physicist Juliusz Ulam. On the back of the envelope address sticker of the sender. Very good condition.
W. Szymborska (1923-2012) - poet, essayist, critic, translator, columnist, Nobel Prize winner in literature in 1996, founder of the Polish Writers' Association in 1989.
