Peasant Organization of Freedom "Raclawice" (ChOW "Raclawice") - a clandestinepeasant organization formed in September 1939 as a result of the transformation of the Revolutionary Union of Independence and Freedom, which was a continuation of the Central Union of Young Villagers "Siew."
It achieved great significance in Podlasie and Mazovia. Initially it was affiliated with the Central Committee of Independence Organizations, but in the spring of 1940 a group of activists with the chairman of the organization Roman Tyczynski joined the People's Party "Roch" and later co-founded the Peasant Battalions. In April 1940 a military department of the organization was created - the Polish Armed Organization (POZ), later renamed POZ "Znak." Most of the members in 1942 became part of the Home Army. Other members of the ChOW "Raclawice" carried out independent political activity, from July 1944 in the Council of National Unity. The organization's press organs included "Raclawice" and "Walka i Niepodległość."
