Solidarity reprint of "Testament of Fighting Poland." On July 1, 1945, the Council of National Unity announced "Testament of Fighting Poland" as its last program document. It was a summary of six years of struggle for Poland's freedom and an expression of opposition to the decisions made by the Allies at the Yalta and Tehran conferences, which did not take into account the country's sovereignty. The document marked the ideological conclusion of the Council's activities and reminded Poles of their steadfast pursuit of independence.
