Two documents issued to Andrzej Staworzynski, a 1945 document, High School Maturity Certificate, and an interesting certificate declaring graduation from the clandestine mathematics and physics high school " Collegieum " in Warsaw in 1944. Andrzej Staworzyński a.k.a. "Babinicz", son of Leopold and Maria Staworzyński, born 18.07.1925 in Warsaw. During the occupation period, in conspiracy, he served in platoon No. 401, part of the 1st District of the 4th District of the Warsaw District of the Home Army Ochota. During the Warsaw Uprising, with the rank of corporal cadet, he went through the combat route serving in the "Krybar" Combat Group in the Military Uprising Protection Service (WSOP), beginning in Powisle and ending in Srodmiescie South. In Powisle he fought, among other things, in the defense of the Power Plant. After moving to Srodmiescie, he was assigned to the covering platoon, commanded by Zbigniew Blichewicz, a.k.a. "Szczerba." After the capitulation of the Uprising, he left the city with the civilian population. He died on 06.01.1991 in Warsaw.
