Joachim Hempel's certificate of service, signed by Generals Wincenty Krasiński and Tomasz Łubieński. Of particular interest is a January 2, 1814 report from the Minister of War to the Emperor, with a proposal to grant the privilege of wearing the eagle (1er Porte-Aigle) to officers of the Vistula Legion - a document with the notation "apre" "NAP."
