[MROŻEK Slawomir]. Recipe for Russian dumplings handwritten by Slawomir Mrożek in 1987.
Single-sided manuscript on ark. 29.6x21 cm. Spiral notebook page. Corrections in the text, underlining. According to information obtained from the writer's wife, he received the recipe for Russian dumplings from the wife of the Polish ambassador in Stockholm "because he liked them". Transverse fold mark, bottom sheet crease.
S. Mrozek (1930-1913) - "writer and cartoonist. Author of satirical short stories and dramatic works on philosophical, political, moral and psychological themes. As a playwright, he is counted among the currents of the theater of the absurd" (Wikipedia). Since 1963 he was in exile (in France, the USA, Germany, Italy and Mexico), he returned to his country for several years in 1996. He gained worldwide fame with his dramas translated into many languages and successfully staged in theaters around the world.
