LESZEK the Black (1241-1288) prince of Cracow, Sieradz, Łęczyca,Sandomierz.
An act concerning a dispute between the village of Radziszów belonging to the monastery in Tyniec and the village of Kurosęki belonging to the Cracow castle. The privilege of Boleslaw the Chaste is also approved. 15 VI 1287. 38.5 x 25 cm. Latin language. Certified copy dated 15 IX 1801.
PrinceLeszek the Black is the brother of Wł.Łokietek. A rare type of medieval document having legal force after 5 centuries since this certified extract was made in 1801. Mogilany and Skawina, among others, are mentioned. This document supplements the knowledge about castellans of Cracow, since at present it is not stated who was a castellan in the 80s of the 13th century. Here the document mentions "comes Sułko castellanus cracoviensis", there is also Imran the hunter of Cracow and Jan Bobrovius (Bobrowski?). Ink stamp of the stamp duty with the coat of arms of Galicia and the fee stamp with an eagle. Fraying of lower margin, trace of folding otherwise good condition. 9354/5
