Document confirming the military service and describing its course of three soldiers of the Polish Legions. The document comes from the Military Archives and Circle of the 1st Regiment of Polish Legions named after Józef Piłsudski in Lublin.
Jan Mieszkowski (born 1890 in Kalisz) - son of Feliks and Marta, soldier of the Polish Legions. He joined the Legions on October 4, 1914, serving in the 1st Lancer Regiment. On July 19, 1917, after refusing to take an oath of allegiance to the German Emperor, he was interned in the camp in Szczypiorno.
