Document confirming the military service and describing its course of three soldiers of the Polish Legions. The document comes from the Military Archives and Circle of the 1st Regiment of the Polish Legions named after Józef Piłsudski in Lublin.
Henryk Bednarski (born 1884 in Plock) - son of Józef and Magdalena, soldier of the Polish Legions. He joined the Legions on August 6, 1914, initially assigned to the 2nd Battalion of the 1st Brigade, and from August 25, 1914 served in the 2nd squadron of the 1st Cavalry Regiment. In January 1915, he was wounded and spent time in hospitals for treatment. He returned to duty on September 1, 1916, continuing in the 1st Uhlan Regiment until the oath crisis in July 1917.
