Adam Didur [1874-1946] - Polish singer, one of the most outstanding basses of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. He had a magnificent voice with an extensive range, allowing him to sing some baritone parts, as well as an excellent technique and acting temperament. His creations of Boris Godunov in Mussorgsky's opera, Mephisto in Gounod's Faust and Don Basilio in Rossini's Barber of Seville have gone down in history.[based on: https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Didur].
