A stamp/date stamp and a Third Reich postage stamp are visible on the reverse. General condition of the document can be seen on the scans. Andrzej Staworzyński a.k.a. "Babinicz", son of Leopold and Maria Staworzyński, born on 18.07.1925 in Warsaw. During the occupation period, in conspiracy, he served in platoon No. 401, part of the 1st District of the 4th Warsaw District of the Home Army Ochota. During the Warsaw Uprising, with the rank of corporal cadet, he went through the combat route serving in the "Krybar" Combat Group in the Military Uprising Protection Service (WSOP), starting in Powisle and ending in Srodmiescie South. In Powisle he fought, among other things, in the defense of the Power Plant. After moving to Srodmiescie, he was assigned to the covering platoon, commanded by Zbigniew Blichewicz, a.k.a. "Szczerba." After the capitulation of the Uprising, he left the city with the civilian population.
