CZARTORYSKI Witold Kazimierz [1876-1911] - Polish aristocrat, patron of the arts and ordinate of Gołuchów, duke of the coat of arms of Pogoń Litewska. He was a traveler, linguist and, above all, a collector of books, having amassed a library of more than 25,000 volumes with works in Arabic, Spanish, Lithuanian, French and Italian largely on freedoms, the occult, history in general, religious studies, geography (including atlases from various corners of the globe), mathematics or the fine arts. After his death in Paris, these collections went to the Library of the University of Lviv and the ancestral Library in Krakow
