[SZYMBORSKA Wisława, pastedown]. Handwritten "wyklejanka" by Wisława Szymborska with correspondence addressed to Stanisław Balbus, mentioned only by name, dated X 1998 in Zakopane.
Sheet of stiff white paper form. 9.8x14.8 cm. On one side glued cut out from a magazine two silhouettes of villains handcuffed and (also cut out) text: "Orders from the provinces are carried out with the greatest care and punctuality". On the back a handwritten correspondence signed "W. S.". The poet briefly characterizes the "capital of the Tatra Mountains": "It is a town located at the foot of the High Tatras. The population consists of natives and immigrants, as long as they like to sing loudly at strictly defined times: from 12 to 2 a.m. and from 5 to 6 in the morning." Lower part of card yellowed, otherwise good condition.
