Manuscript 1 p. on paper, dimensions 34 x 21 cm. Traces of folding, tears and small losses of paper. In the l. g. corner stamp: "Command of the Operational Group of Maj. Gen. LEŚNIEWSKI.". At the bottom, handwritten signature of Stanislaw Bujwid.
Handwritten report by Lt. Stanislaw Bujwid dated January 24, 1919. The author describes his mission to revisit the Ukrainian army outpost in Vinnytsia near Lviv and hand over "things" (presumably medical supplies) there, accompanied by a Ukrainian ensign and trumpeter and 3 Red Cross delegates. The adventures are described with detachment and humor, despite the many dangers cited that Lt. Bujwid was exposed to.
At the end, Bujwid describes how he miraculously avoided death from an ambush prepared for him by Ukrainian soldiers who intended to murder the participants of the Polish delegation and steal the automobile. This is because the chauffeur, who "knew how to speak Russian," heard a conversation among the soldiers and relayed it to Bujwid, who, soberly assessing the situation, took hostages with him in the form of 2 Ukrainian soldiers. Having driven off to a safe place, he let the Ukrainians go free.

After the dissolution of the Officers' Legion, he was assigned to the operational group of Maj. Gen. J. Lesniewski. By the new commander of the group, Lt. Gen. Jędrzejewski, he was appointed his personal adjutant. He took part in the Polish-Bolshevik war. He died on May 30, 1951.
