Letter from Mehofferowa dated August 28, 1950, handwritten by Felicja Piekarska to Wladyslawa Iwanska, wife of Mieczyslaw Iwansky; relates to the shipment of a painting, The Adoration of the Three Kings, to the address given by Iwansky - it turned out that the parcel did not arrive: [...] go to the Post Office and pick up the parcel, which is probably lying there, in order to prevent its return to Cracow, which would be a great annoyance and loss for both parties; note by Piekarska: I was today at the Post Office where I sent the package. They remembered there that it was packed according to the rules, very carefully [...]; st. bdb.; dimensions 152x210 mm; original envelope with a torn stamp (no harm to the text).
