Letter from Juliusz Osterwa to Aleksander Czaplicki, a prosecutor from Radom, regarding an outstanding debt:
"Highly Respected Sir, Out of necessity I have been in Warsaw for 6 weeks and will remain here for another month or so, I am sending your address at the same time to the Vilna Redoubt from where I have had no news for some time. I only know that there has been a change in administration there. This is the only explanation for the delay. - In the event that by 20.II. the due amount does not reach your hands, please send me a message, and I will telegraphically send the due amount. With best regards Juliusz Osterwa, Warsaw 7.II.29."
Attached to the letter is an original envelope with a postmark dated 8.II.29r. and a fee stamp, addressed to: "H.E. Mr. Aleksander Czaplicki, Radom, Prosecutor's Office, f. 97 x 155mm [letter], 100 x 165mm [envelope], RARE
