[KONOPCZYŃSKI Władysław, letter to a scholar]. Handwritten letter from Stanislaw Bodniak, director of the Kórnik Library, to the scholar, dated. 4 IV 1936 in Kórnik.
Two-sided letter on ark. 29.4x22.3 cm, on library correspondence paper. The sender reports on the modest results of a search for data on the length of the Polish sea coast. "The Kórnik cartographic collection - itself old, the stock of geographical literature is also aged." The second issue was demographic data from both Prussia in the late 16th/early 17th century. - virtually unobtainable. The letter's author suggests how to obtain estimates in this regard. The last issue addressed here is the matter of ransacked churches in the Diocese of Cracow in the mid-16th century. The letter ends with holiday wishes of "Merry Alleluia!". Traces of folding, good condition.
