[KONOPCZYŃSKI Władysław]. Handwritten letter from Professor Władysław Konopczyński to an unnamed (former?) MP, dated. 15 I 1928.
One-sided letter on ark. 28.7x22 cm. In the upper part printed: "Sejm of the Republic of Poland". The author of the letter, referring to "our joint parliamentary work", asks for help in finding employment for his cousin Ludwik Ostromęcki as an administrator of the estate. The aforementioned cousin ends up working as an estate administrator for the Pulawski Institute "under the pressure of those factors that ruffle many people of our convictions today." Konopczynski lists numerous names of landowners for whom Ostromęcki worked, and who are ready to give him flattering recommendations. The letter ends with a request: "I would be much obliged if the Honorable Gentleman would support this candidacy among his neighbors and acquaintances." The sender appended his signature with the note: "Prof. U. Jag. and former deputy to the Sejm". Corner folds slight loss of upper corner, minor staining.
