[SRZEDNICKI Konrad]. Collection of 11 official letters addressed to Prof. Konrad Srzednicki between 1946 and 1964 and concerning his artistic and teaching activities.
The collection includes:
1. appointment of K. Srzednicki as disciplinary ombudsman for professors at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, signed by Minister of Culture Władysław Kowalski, 1946, (pencil sketches on the back)
2. invitation to attend a conference on artistic printmaking, 1949
3. request to attend a Marxist seminar for art school professors in Nieborów, signed by Zbigniew Pronaszko, 1950
4. dismissal from the position of associate dean of the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, signed by Minister of Culture Stefan Dybowski, 1951
5. election to the jury of the Second National Exhibition of Fine Arts, 1951
6. request to participate in a meeting concerning "changes in the curriculum at the Academy of Fine Arts" in Nieborów, 1952
7. request to complete personal files at the Academy of Fine Arts Rector's Office, 1957
8. information on the award of a cash prize at the First Marine Exhibition, signed by Włodzimierz Siwierski, commissioner of the exhibition, 1958
9. assignment to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the academic year 1959/1960, signed by Czesław Rzepiński, rector, 1959
10. request to become a member of the Commission for Economic Orders, with the signature of Zbigniew Chudzkiewicz, pro-rector, 1961
11. assignment to teach at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the academic year 1964/1965, with the signature of Czeslaw Rzepinski, rector, 1964.
Attached to the above set is a catalog of an exhibition of the artist's works in Vienna in 1963, two cards with private correspondence, three inserts to the catalog of the 3rd Festival of Fine Arts in Sopot, a telegram of congratulations after the opening of an exhibition of Srzednicki's works in Zachęta.
