The Exhibition of Books and Exlibrises in Lviv took place in 1933, and was organized through the efforts of the Association of Clerks of the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Lviv Branch, in the Representation Hall of the Lviv Branch of the B. G. K. The catalog for the exhibition was prepared by Julia Meczicka, Rudolf's wife, an excellent collector and bibliophile.
Aleksander Semkowicz (1885-1954) - bookbinder, bibliographer, lover and researcher of the works of Adam Mickiewicz, senator in the Second Republic. He initiated the creation of the Adam Mickiewicz Museum of Literature in Warsaw, and was its first director in 1950-1954.
