Boleslaw Kostecki - may be referring to the son of Jan, who lived from 1856-1921, as a medical student in Kiev arrested and exiled to Siberia (for agitational activity on behalf of Narodna Wola, in the trial of the Izbicki brothers). After his release, he continued his studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Jagiellonian University in 1892, received his doctorate in 1898, and began private practice a year later.
