[COAL for the Army]. A handwritten thank-you note from Major Cyprian Bystram, on behalf of the commander of the 3rd Lancers Regiment, to the manager of the "Wiktor" mine for the coal sent for the army. Document dated. 24 II 1919 in Warsaw.
One-sided manuscript on ark. 16.4x21 cm. In the upper left corner stamp of the regimental command, under the text signature of C. Bystram (he served as regimental commander from 1920-1928). He annotated the acknowledgment with the comment: "In the hard times we are experiencing, every sacrifice, even the smallest one, is a great help to us, which is noted in the history of the regiment's formation." Sheet mounted on paper backing, minor folds, good condition.
