Tadeusz Wojciech Wilczynski (born October 27, 1888 in Chotowa, died April 4, 1981 in Lviv) - Polish botanist, professor, expert on the flora of the Eastern Carpathians. After the end of World War I, he actively participated in the reconstruction of the destroyed Botanical and Agricultural Station on Pozyzhivska in Czarnohora, which was the Poloniny branch of the Botanical and Agricultural Station in Lviv. It resumed its activities only in 1923. In 1929, he established the Medicinal Plants Garden in Lviv, on Piekarska Street - on a plot of 5.5 hectares - as a research facility for the Department of Pharmacy at Lviv University.
He studied the flora of the Eastern Carpathians and Podolia. He discovered several new species of great importance to science in these areas.
Member of the Lviv branch of the Polish Botanical Society and the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences. Author of, among other things, Floristic Notes from the Carpathian Mountains of Pokuttya, he published in the journal Plant Landscapes of Poland (published by Kasa Imie Mianowski).
