"On account of the childbirth by Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Alexandra Josephovna, spouse of His Imperial Highness Grand Duke Konstantin Nikolayevich [Konstantin Nikolayevich Romanov 1827-1892], of a daughter named Olga [1851-1926, Queen of Greece], the Government Commission for Internal and Clerical Affairs [illegible] dated September 21 rb. No. 6,135 notified the Archdiocesan authorities to hold a thanksgiving service and prayers for the successful growth of the newborn in all Parish and Religious churches under the administration, in fulfillment of the above decree the Consistory to hold this service, Sunday 18 after Christmas that is, October 19 rb. 11 a.m., and calls upon the Pastors and Stewards of parish churches and the superiors of monasteries to notify the local authorities and the people of the faithful, after teaching or preaching, prior to the celebration of Mass, the Supreme Manifesto is to be read [illegible] to the people intended for the service, and the Hymn "Thee God We Praise" is to be solemnly sung, with the customary prayer for the reigning Monarch added. Olga Konstantinovna Romanova [1851-1926] - Grand Duchess of Russia, Queen of Greece from 1867 to 1913 as wife of George I of Greece. It is interesting to note that the queen's grandchildren included three kings of Greece and the husband of the recently deceased Queen Elizabeth II, kFilip, Duke of Edinburgh.
