A collection of documents related to the diplomatic activities of Ignacy Skrzynski, Polish diplomat, contract worker and later honorary counselor at the Polish Embassy in Paris [autographs by Jozef Beck, Marian Seyda, Oskar Halecki].
Ignacy Skrzynski was the grandson of Ignacy, a member of the Galician National Sejm. He was born into the landed gentry family of Zdzislaw and Celina Celestyna Seweryna, née hr. Dunin-Borkowski, h.h. Swan (1853-1934). He had a brother Wladyslaw (born 1873), ambassador of the Second Republic to the Vatican in 1921-1937.

Oskar Halecki (1891-1973) - Polish historian, medievalist, Byzantinologist, professor at Warsaw University and foreign universities, member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, emigration activist, member of the Cracow Circle of the Historical Society.
Certificate of the Polish Embassy in Paris, certifying that Count Ignacy Skrzynski arrived in France on November 25, 1925 and settled in Paris, where he remained continuously as Honorary Counselor to the Polish Embassy.
