PAC Ludwik, Count (1778-1835) senator governor, general,last of the family.

Letter to Ludwik Jelski (1785-1843) first president of the Bank of Poland, on matters of the bank. Warsaw 14 VI 1828.Polish and French language. Autograph of L.Pac and imprint (broken) of his wax seal with two coats of arms once closing the letter. Dimensions: 21 x 13 cm
L.Pac, patriotic activist during the November Uprising, went into exile after the defeat. Known for his wealth. He owned opulent palaces on Miodowa Street (current Min.Zdrowia) and in Dowspuda. From him came the saying "Worth Pac Pac a palace Pac".
The recipient of the letter is the first president of the Bank of Poland in history, L.Jelski, an economic and emigration activist. One of the topics of the letter is the employment of Bernard Stempczynski, later a lieutenant in the November Uprising, also an émigré and friend of Maurycy Mochnacki. Good condition.
