Great group of documents after Lieutenant of the 2nd Polish Corps. Kazimierz Hawlin, son of Wladyslaw born 5.4.1928 in Nowy Sacz. During World War 2 he got out of the country through Hungary, was a soldier in the rank of lieutenant in the 5th Borderland Communications Battalion with the army number 1918-56-III, later a soldier of the 1st Parachute Brigade. He was decorated with the Monte Cassino Cross, among other awards. At the end of the war in Europe he was promoted to the rank of Captain and settled in London, where he died in Ealing, 18.12. 2002.
