[KERN Ludwik Jerzy]. Manuscript of an occasional poem dedicated to an unnamed Jerzy Skarżyński, dated. 23 IV 1955.
Manuscript on one page form. 21.4x15 cm, remaining three pages blank. A stationery sheet with a small view of the Wroclaw Town Hall. The poem is titled "Laura for Jurek" and was probably an attachment to a coffee given as a name day gift. It is indicated by the words: "May every gram of this coffee / Add a leaf to your wreath of fame, / May inspiration from this neska / Flow into your line drawings." The piece ends with the phrase: "This is what Ludwik Jerzy and his wife Marta wish you with this card". The poem is decorated with sparingly distributed accents done in red lipstick. Very good condition.
