Piece with an interesting provenance - a mysterious hoard known, among other things, for the multi-ducat and multi-taler coins of Royal Poland (round punch on the rim, at 12 o'clock, also visible on the Sobieski medal from this auction).
Trace of double minting on obverse, otherwise a healthy, quite nice thaler.
Variety with a narrow half-figure of the king, with a bow. On the reverse a small labrys.
Reverse legend with errors NEG instead of NEC and HB instead of HR.
Silver, diameter 43 mm, weight 28.3 g.
