A typologically rare coin, introduced in a reform carried out around 1364, before the first shekels were minted.
In the brochure "Teutonic Coins" by Marta Męclewska we can read:
"Thus, they are rarely found in finds, and we note very few known varieties."
Variety with arrows in the obverse and reverse legend.
Mint freshness condition superbly visible on the reverse, slightly dampened with patina on the obverse.
Beautiful, even minting, no characteristic sheet flaws, EXCELLENT PRESENCE.
For the best collections - in such condition a GREAT rarity.
