Reference: Kopicki 3421 (R5), Ivanauskas 2SV2-1 (RRR), Tyszkiewicz 15 mk

In 1589, less than two years after the coronation, the Vilnius mint minted the first shillings for Sigismund III Vasa. Stamps for them are made by Petras Platina (whose mark, the leaves, are at the top of the reverse), placing the Leliwa coat of arms of the current treasurer, Teodor Tyszkiewicz, under the shields.

A variety with a POL-terminated titulature.

A very rare coin.
