Crown topped with a royal apple - a non-descriptive variety of the king's portrait in Iger.
Inscribed variety with the king's titulature SIG III ... LIV in the rim on the obverse.
Interpunctuation of the obverse in the form of crosses.
Numbers 1 in the date a characteristic undercut from the bottom.

Delicate rubbing of the obverse (in front of the king's face), but a superbly struck and preserved piece. Plastic relief. Beautiful detail. Intense luster and mint mirror throughout. Rarer inscription variety. Iger's undescribed portrait variety with a crown topped with a royal apple. A beautiful coin for discerning collectors.
