An excellent piece in mint fresh condition, luster falling into mirrors, very sharp relief.
The second highest NGC grading note for this vintage to date - only one piece graded higher.
A rarer vintage, minted before the 19-year hiatus in the issuance of this denomination.
Definitely recommended.
Obverse: denomination marking +III+, below it the Riga coat of arms, separating the date 16-00 and the beginning of the GR-OS legend, below it further 3 lines of the legend ending with a lily: ARG+TRIP/CIVI+RI/+GE;
Reverse: crowned royal bust with numerous jewels in the rim of the crown, wearing armor, with a tubular orifice seen from the side, to the right, in the rim the legend: SIG+III+DG - +REX+PO+D+LI;
