Lot description Show orginal version
Grade: XF
Reference: Ivanauskas -, Iger V.98.3.- (R5), Kopicki 3537 (R6), Tyszkiewicz 20 Mk

A beautiful piece - which is rare, as this type of triplet is usually found in poor states of preservation.
Charming dark-gold patina, with piercing luster - giving additional beauty and presence.

A very rare type of coin with the Swan coat of arms - treasurer Andrew Zawisza in front of the head of an ox pierced with a hook by Simon Lidman.
Rarity confirmed in Iger and Kopicki catalogs, while Tyszkiewicz valued it at as much as 20 marks in gold !
Moreover, according to Iger's catalog, the rarest variety for this vintage, as the swan crest and the ox's head are more often found in reverse order.
In addition, undescribed in Iger and Ivanauskas variant with a colon after GROS.

A typologically valuable trojak from the Lithuanian mint, especially in this state of preservation.
For the best collections.
