A piece of great beauty, a very rare semi-penny, with a beautiful luster in the background and a fine patina.
High grading by the renowned NGC company.
At the moment only 4 pieces graded higher !

The rarest first vintage Lithuanian half-penny of Sigismund II Augustus, in the rarest variety.
Tyszkiewicz valued the rarity of this numismat at 30 marks in gold, while Kopicki estimated it at R7.
In Ivanauskas' catalog, the rarity determined at RRR - the rarest among the varieties with SIGIS on the Pogon side.
Legend variant L / LITVA.
An interesting variant with a double D in the word DVC.

An item absent from most, even the most advanced collections.
