Obverse: Eagle of the Russian Empire against the background of the globe crowned with the tsar's crown with order ribbons, all around the coats of arms of the six countries of the Empire separated by the denomination marking РУБЛЬ; in the rim the legend:
АЛЕКСАНДРЪ I БОЖIЕЮ МИЛОСТIЮ ИМПЕРАТОРЪ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОССIЙСКIЙ;
