Obverse: head of Tsar Nicholas II to the left, in the rim the legend:

Reverse: eagle of the Russian Empire of the design of 1886, below inscription:
15 РУБЛЕЙ 1897 Г;

Edge: Чистаго золота 2 золотника 69,36 долей А-Г;
