Lot description Show orginal version
Grade: XF-
Estimations: 889 - 1 333 EUR
Reference: Kopicki 10132 R7
Extremely rare coin minted in silver, described in Kopicki with a rarity grade of R7 (4-6 pieces known) and a valuation of 250, which is close to the valuation of Valois ducats. In addition to the metal (silver), the coin is immediately distinguished by its minting quality, much better than the typical double denarii minted in copper for circulation. The making of this type of sample was only possible at the mint in Paris, which was the only one fully mechanized. The coin was minted by Valois while he was king of Poland. In the legend with the titulature of the King of Poland ET. POL, mint mark A under the bust in the rim. Coin not listed on Onebid. A coin for the most distinguished collections.
