Prussian coins of Frederick II imitating the sixpences and orts of August III were issued in 1755 and 1756, and were minted in Königsberg (E) and Breslau (B). In Prussia, circulation of these coins was prohibited because they had a lower silver sample. Agents of Frederick II illegally issued it in Poland in exchange for full-value coins. A historically interesting, rare coin, minted at the Breslau mint. A beautiful piece with mint luster.
