A rare variety with the inscription GROSZY placed tightly. This is most likely the first trojak stamp made for the Duchy of Warsaw, on which the inscription GROSZY was compressed - the mintmaster at the time did not yet know the diameter of the disc on which this denomination was to be minted. This trojak can be regarded as a kind of trial issue. The rarest vintage of the troy in a type practically uncommon on the market, unlisted at WCN auctions. Berezowski values this variety 5 times higher than the basic one for this vintage and 7.5 times higher than the popular Duchy of Warsaw trojaks. The most recent listing is WDA-MiM 9/440 https://wda.onebid.pl/pl/auction/393/lot/440/rr-ksiestwo-warszawskie-3-grosze-1810-is-emisja-pilotazowa-probna where a piece in condition 3 sold for 1725zl. A coin for the best collections of 19th century coins.
