RR-, 2 gold 1983, DESTRUCT, 90-degree CONTRACT

Very rare coin, struck with a stamp rotated 90 degrees. A beautiful mint piece, strong mint luster, details untouched by circulation, bright yellow color. In coin collections of the last century, struck by machine in large quantities, it is not the quantity of coins that indicates the quality of the collection, but the number of gems in it. There are no higher class of gems than low-volume SAMPLES, and even rarer to them, created by accident, interesting minting errors (offsets, reverses).
