R-, Western Pomerania, Denarius of Szczecin XVw head of Griffin/griffin

Not very rare denarius, but it is customary for this type of coins to be minted extremely carelessly, as a result of which most of the relief drawing remains illegible. Here the piece is struck in an exemplary fashion - one can admire the feathers on the griffin's neck, its curved beak or the crown crowning its head. Such a minted Pomeranian denarius is a great rarity and certainly a missing coin even in advanced collections.
