Obverse: IMP C M AVR PROBVS P F AVG

Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.

Reverse: CLEMENTIA TEMP / ᴗ / XXIζ

Emepror standing right, holding scepter surmounted by eagle, receiving globe from Jupiter standing left, holding scepter.

Bilon, diameter 22,0 x 21,4 mm, weight 3,54 g.

Attribution of this coin to the 4th unspecified oriental mint instead of Antiochia (as in RIC V.II) is based on the article by S. Estiot, "L’Empereur et l’usurpateur: un 4e atelier oriental sous Probus"; Studies in ancient coinage in honor of Anndrew Burnett, Spink, London, 2015.
