Beautiful mirror, great freshness of the background. Uneven patina. No signs of stamp corrosion. Very attractive for a "crucible".
A distinctive coin of King Stanislaw Augustus from the second issue of proof coins, dated 1771. The issue was made in pure silver to prevent massive counterfeiting of Polish coinage at Prussian mints.
Beautiful iconography by Jan Filip Holzhausser, depicting the mint crucible under a sentence referring to the idea of the new coins: PROBATUS MELIOR(proven better).
Original old minting.
Silver, diameter 21 mm, weight 2.85 g.
